Panthic Singhs Confront Controversial Parcharak – Pledges to Cancel All Programs, Camps

 

TORONTO, CANADA (KP) – Representatives from several Toronto Panthic organizations, including Akhand Kirtani Jatha Toronto (Gurdwara Sahib Tapoban), Damdami Taksal Toronto, Akhand Keertani Jatha (Toronto – not affiliated with akj.org) and others confronted the controversial parcharak Dalvinder Singh who is implicated in a sexual assault case in Delhi, India.

After being confronted by the Sangat regarding the serious allegations reported against him from India, the UK, and North America Dalwinder Singh has agreed to stop organizing camps and programs anywhere from now on, and would not interfere or get involved in setting up marriages between young couples. Furthermore, he agreed to not harass or bully the victim’s family in Delhi.

Dalwinder Singh is named along with Jaspreet Singh, and Gagandeep Singh an FIR with the Tis Hazari Court in Delhi  under Indian Penal Codes (IPC) 1860, sections 328 (Causing hurt by means of poison, etc., with intent to commit an offence), Section 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), Section 376 (Rape), and Section 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
